About HEATHER
Meet Heather, the founder of Heather B's Dog House, a certified dog trainer, and a passionate advocate for canine rehabilitation. With over a decade of experience in rescue, fostering, and adoption, Heather has dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of dogs and their families.
Heather's journey began in 2011 in Detroit, where she identified the need for training and care to rehabilitate rescue dogs. To expand her knowledge and provide more comprehensive support, Heather pursued veterinary classes and worked as a veterinary assistant in emergency and general services from 2012 to 2017. During this time, she witnessed countless dogs and families struggling with behavioral issues and knew she had to make a greater impact.
In 2017, Heather began working part-time at a dog training facility, assisting trainers and caring for dogs in a boarding and training program. Recognizing her passion and potential, Heather's company sent her to National K9 in Columbus, Ohio, for a 3-week residency program. There, she fully trained her first dog, Ollie, in obedience and manners, and became a certified dog trainer.
Upon her return, Heather worked as a full-time trainer at a boarding and training facility for four years. In 2021, she took a leap of faith to establish her own dog training business, Heather B's Dog House. Today, she continues her work in a more private setting, providing flexible services for her family and fur babies.

Trust Heather B's Dog House for a transformative, personalized, and compassionate experience that will positively impact both you and your furry companion. 🐶
