OBEDIENCE TRAINING

Invest in your Dog's future!

Our customized training programs address behavior problems, social issues, and impulse control while teaching basic and advanced commands. Using a balanced approach and positive reinforcement, we work on various unwanted behaviors and help your dog become a well-mannered member of your family. Training takes place in a home environment, with field trips to improve focus amidst distractions.

BASIC TRAINING
  • Duration: 7 days boarding, tools included
  • Basic house manners and commands
  • One follow-up lesson (expires 30 days after go-home date)

ADVANCED TRAINING
  • Duration: 12 days boarding, tools included
  • Basic house manners, commands, and heel walk

ADVANCED OFF-LEASH (Add-on)
  • Only for Dog's in Advanced Training
  • Duration: 5 days boarding
  • Advanced off-leash training

PET TRANSPORT SERVICES

We offer transportation options for pick-up and drop-off, as well as trips to the veterinarian, care appointments, or doggie daycare. Rates are based on distance, with a flat rate of $1.00 per mile (round trip). Special event transportation, have your dog be apart of your special day, events or even a wedding,  available upon request.

Even though the training I offer is balanced , I try many other training methods to get the dogs best success and meet goals.

    Requirements
    To ensure the health and safety of all dogs in our care, we have a set of requirements for training and boarding, including age, vaccine records, and health status. Aggressive dogs or those with a bite history are not accepted.At Heather B's Dog House, we're committed to providing exceptional care and services tailored to your dog's unique needs. Trust us to help your pet achieve their full potential and become a well-rounded member of your family.

    Dog Boarding

    While you're away, trust Heather B's Dog House for your pet's boarding needs. We provide a safe and comfortable environment where dogs enjoy socializing, playing, and practicing good manners. Our boarding services include daily walks, and advanced training is available upon request.

    • Price: $50 per night 24 hour stay
    • $40 per day boarding: 8am to 8pm only
    • Double prices on major holidays

    Pet Transportation

    We provide reliable pet transportation for pickup and drop-off, with a flat rate of $1.00 per mile, round trip. Our services extend to veterinarian visits, care appointments, and one-way trips to doggie daycare. You can even include your pet in your wedding or special event with our event transportation services.

    Commands Glossary
    • OK: Release word (free mode)
    • Let's Go/Come: Gets dog's attention to join you
    • Sit/Settle: Implied stay, use OK to release
    • Stay: Implied stay, use OK to release
    • Drop: Dog spits out whatever is in their mouth
    • Place: Dog sits or settles on a designated mat, rug, or cot
    • Heel: Dog walks next to you, head at your side, no pulling or distractions

    Requirements
    • Vaccines: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella.
    • Dog must be in good health, no internal parasites,
    • 5 months or older.
    • No aggression or bite history.
    • Flea/tick prevention is strongly recommended.

    Supplies to Bring
    • Food, medication, special tools.
    • Normal walking leash and collar
    • 5-6 ft leash & collar preferred,
    • No retractable leashes
